About

Hey! My name is Jesse and I am a multidisciplinary artist inspired by my immense love for cats.

I have been creating art for most of my life, and began a serious pursuit during Covid. I recently graduated from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design with a BFA in illustration.

As you well know, I’m obsessed with cats. This all started after adopting Aiko, a now 15 year old princess from a no-kill shelter in Denver back in 2021. Overwhelmed with creative inspiration, I began (and still am) creating works of art from the joy and love I’ve discovered for cats and Aiko.

One of my greatest joys is finding new ways to create. Exploring mediums that challenge my artistic style, and discovering ways to merge techniques has developed my artistic range into a diverse creative practice.

Some of my favorite mediums include digital (iPad and Procreate), Acrylic paint, pen and ink, and relief cut printing. I circulate between these different mediums while exploring new ones as well.

When I’m not creating you can find me meditating, boxing, watching a movie with Aiko (she loves to sleep through them) and spending time with family and friends.
